Dishwasher AM

Sun Mountain Lodge is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate should be efficient, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the kitchen staff in delivering exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Dish Cleaning: Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils using the appropriate cleaning equipment and procedures.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper cleaning and maintenance of dishwashing equipment, including regular cleaning and occasional troubleshooting.
• Kitchen Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, including the storage of clean dishes and utensils.
• Trash and Recycling: Dispose of trach and recycling according to the lodge’s waste management guidelines.
• Assistance: Assist the kitchen staff as needed, including basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping ingredients, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and kitchen equipment.
• Efficiency: Work quickly and efficiently to keep up with demands of the kitchen during busy periods.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods and life heavy objects.
• Basic understanding of kitchen sanitation procedures and guidelines.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Pay is $16.28 - $17.00 DOE
