Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Financial Analyst with strong expertise in Workday Financials to support and enhance enterprise financial systems. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Workday Financial modules, business process configuration, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.
Required Skills:.
- 10 years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials.
- Workday Financials Certification is mandatory.
- Strong experience in configuring and supporting Workday Financial modules.
- Experience with the following Workday Financial modules:
- Financial Accounting
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Procurement
- Expenses
- Asset Management
- Banking & Settlement
- Strong understanding of financial business processes and accounting principles.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
- Ability to configure, test, and deploy Workday solutions.
- Experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, and dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with EIBs, integrations, and data conversions.
- Experience supporting Workday implementations, enhancements, and production support activities.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills are preferred.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Configure and maintain Workday Financial applications and business processes.
- Design, develop, and support Workday reports and dashboards.
- Perform system testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot Workday Financial issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and third-party vendors.
- Document business processes, functional specifications, and system changes.
- Recommend process improvements and best practices within Workday Financials.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience in large enterprise environments.
- Additional Workday certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics or Workday Adaptive Planning is preferred.
Location Preference: Candidates local to New Jersey, Tampa (FL), or Raleigh (NC) are highly preferred.
