Position: Concierge
Facility: Sun Harbor Healthcare
Location: Port Charlotte, FL
Shift: Full-Time | 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Pay: $18–$20/hour (based on experience)
About the Role:
Sun Harbor Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, customer-service-driven Concierge to be the welcoming face for our residents and their families. If you're detail-oriented, professional, and enjoy helping others, we’d love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Admissions to prepare rooms for new residents
Ensure all room equipment (bed, oxygen, etc.) is ready and functioning
Assemble and deliver welcome baskets
Greet and escort residents to their rooms upon admission
Provide emotional support to residents and families
Respond promptly to call bells and resident needs
Handle complaints and refer concerns via the grievance process
Attend Resident Council meetings and in-service trainings
Conduct facility tours as needed
Assist with room changes and transitions
Complete follow-up forms within 48 business hours of admission/discharge
Supervise scheduled smoking sessions
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Basic computer and office equipment proficiency
Ability to work independently and within a team
Detail-oriented with a service-first mindset
Preferred: Prior experience in a nursing home setting
