What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Sun Country Pediatrics?
Sun Country Pediatrics is seeking dedicated individual who enjoys working in a fast paced work environment with a great team of co-workers!
Job duties include but not limited to:
- answering phones with high call volume
- checking in/out patients
- scheduling appointments
- rescheduling appointments
- sending medical questions to providers
- establishing new patient accounts
- processing fax requests
- prior authorizations
- verifying insurance
- collecting money
- completing daily prep for a provider's schedule
Must be able to work 1 evening a week till 8 pm or last patient, must be able to work 1 Saturday a month. Work scheduled during training may consist to a variety of shifts until fully trained.
