Intensive In‑Home (IIH) Team Lead

Youth Haven Services is a comprehensive mental health agency specializing in supporting children, adolescents, and their families. We are seeking a Licensed Professional to join our growing Intensive In‑Home (IIH) program as a Team Lead.
As the IIH Team Lead, you will provide direct clinical services while supporting, coaching, and guiding the IIH team.
About the Role
The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring high‑quality, person‑centered services for children and adolescents with behavioral or mental health needs. This role combines direct clinical work with team leadership, supervision, and coordination. Services are provided in homes and community settings, following Youth Haven Services policies and state guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family therapy according to the consumer’s Person‑Centered Plan
- Complete clinical assessments and reassessments
- Offer clinical guidance and direction to IIH team members
- Conduct weekly team meetings and monitor case progress, interventions, and overall team performance
- Support compliance for intakes, authorizations, reauthorizations, documentation, and productivity
- Track treatment outcomes, ensure timely documentation, and assist with transition and discharge planning
- Collaborate with families, schools, providers, and community partners
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related human services field
- Current NC Licensure or Provisional Licensure (LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LMFT, LMFTA, etc.)
- Minimum of one year of documented clinical experience with the population served
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- Ability to travel for home‑ and community‑based services
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professional, ethical behavior
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to engage with and support children, adolescents, and families
- Strong assessment, therapeutic, and crisis‑intervention skills
- Ability to lead, supervise, and coach team members
- Skilled in documentation, treatment planning, and progress monitoring
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to analyze information and develop effective interventions
Time Allocation
- 40% – Direct therapeutic services, clinical assessment, and treatment
- 20% – Administrative and clinical supervision of IIH staff
- 20% – Ongoing reassessments, treatment planning, and case coordination
- 10% – Quality assurance, documentation compliance, and outcome monitoring
- 5% – Administrative tasks including authorizations and productivity oversight
- 5% – Other duties as assigned
