Outpatient Therapist (Contract) – School-Based | Turning Point Homes, LLC
Turning Point Homes, LLC is seeking a fully licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT) to join our Outpatient School Based Services team. We are looking for contract therapist to serve Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. The CMS school is Selwyn Elementary, zip code 28211. This is the south Charlotte area. Position Summary
• Provide individual therapy—and family therapy when appropriate—in office or schoolbased settings
• Deliver services through inperson or telehealth formats based on client needs
• Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with Medicaid 8C policy and MCO standards
• Support clients through highquality, evidenceinformed outpatient treatment
Essential Duties
• Provide individual and family therapy through inperson or telehealth sessions
• Complete documentation within required timeframes per Medicaid Coverage Policy 8C
• Maintain compliance with all outpatient service standards and MCO guidelines
• Oversee administrative tasks including intakes, authorizations, reauthorizations, and productivity requirements
• Respond promptly and professionally to new referrals and ensure all stakeholders remain informed
• Participate in supervision, CEUs, and agencyrequired training to maintain licensure
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements
Education:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy from an accredited graduate program
Licensure:
• Fully licensed in North Carolina (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT)
Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of documented clinical experience with the population served
Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, insight, and unbiased clinical judgment
• Proficient in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Sound ethical and professional decisionmaking
Travel:
• Local travel required for office or schoolbased work
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Some remote/telehealth flexibility may be available
