Role Description
Beginning August 2026, this is a full-time on-site role for an Band Director at Sumter Christian School in Sumter, SC. The Band Director, who also serves as the Fine Arts Director, will be responsible for teaching 3 band classes, elementary music, fulfilling Fine Arts duties, and teaching an additional class or two based on qualifications and preferences.
Qualifications
- Christian - and in agreement with the doctrine of the founding church - Sumter Bible Church
- Early Childhood or Elementary Education degree.
- Curriculum Development and Teaching skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility - good rapport with students and their parents.
- Love for God and children.
