A local church in Sumter, SC is hiring a Communications Director to help strengthen messaging, enhance engagement, and support organizational initiatives across multiple channels. Direct Hire | 100% Onsite | Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm Responsibilities: - Serve as the project manager for communications initiatives - Manage and update the church website, social media platforms, and mobile app - Maintain marketing content, event calendars, and communication updates - Help unify communication efforts across all ministries and departments - Attend staff meetings and collaborate with ministry leaders to ensure events, initiatives, and announcements are effectively communicated - Support overall branding and messaging consistency Qualifications: - College degree preferred - Alignment with the organization's mission, values, and culture - Experience managing website content and digital communication platforms - Familiarity with social media management and online engagement strategies - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent organizational and project management abilities Compensation & Benefits: - $50,000 - $55,000, based on experience - Employer-sponsored medical insurance - Retirement plan with employer contribution - Paid vacation and holidays
