What are the responsibilities and job description for the Locums - Nurse Anesthetist position at SUMO Medical Staffing?
Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide coverage starting in June.
The ideal candidate will work 4 ten-hour days, either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with a total of 40 hours per week. Flexibility is also available to split the hours between providers if needed.
Requirements:
- Comfortable with a variety of cases, including responding to codes
- Cardiac and obstetric anesthesia experience required, but additional specialties such as cardiac are a plus
- Must be comfortable working at a trauma level I hospital
- 1:3 or 1:4 CRNA supervision available
- Availability to work all shifts except 8-hour shifts
Additional Information:
Anesthesia techs are available, but they do not report through the anesthesia team. We have SRNAs on site for support. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC.
