Aya Locums is seeking a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 13-week assignment in Kingsport, TN.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CRNA to provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
About the Facility
The facility is an acute care hospital with a standard 5, 10-hour shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This position offers no call coverage.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and postoperative pain management.
- Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed.
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in anesthesia practice through continuing education.

Education Requirements

Licensure and Certification
- Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Tennessee.
- National certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Experience
At least one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting is preferred.
