Duties

- Conduct legal research using tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws.
- Draft legal documents including motions, briefs, and sentencing recommendations with clarity and precision.
- Provide legal advice to law enforcement agencies and community stakeholders on issues related to criminal law.
- Manage a varied caseload that may include violent and nonviolent offenses of all sorts.
- Maintain records of case progress and court filings while adhering to strict deadlines and ethical rules.
- Assist and guide victims through the court process.
Qualifications
- Active law license in Tennessee.
- Proficiency in legal research platforms including Westlaw and LexisNexis.
