What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of GTM/VP of Sales - Immersive Technology Startup position at Summit Technology Laboratory?
Summit Technology Laboratory (STL) is a deep-tech startup pioneering in an AI-powered computer vision software, Artemis, that enables wearable-free immersive environments through our breakthrough automation of projection mapping. Backed by $6M in non-dilutive funding, we’ve built a market-ready, disruptive software product that allows creating such environments in a sustainable and repeatable manner, redefining how people share visual experiences.
So far, our sales have been founder-led, and we’re now seeking our first Go-To-Market (GTM) leader to scale our revenue engine and drive STL toward $3-$5M in annual revenue in 2-3 years.
- Build and lead STL’s GTM strategy from the ground up — spanning sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer engagement.
- Develop and own the end-to-end sales process: pipeline building, deal closing, and account expansion.
- Identify and prioritize high-value verticals (e.g., museums, themed entertainment, education, simulation, enterprise collaboration).
- Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to refine product-market fit and pricing models.
- Establish key sales metrics, forecasting, and scalable processes for predictable growth.\
- Build and mentor the early sales and GTM team as STL scales.
- Multiple years experience in B2B sales or GTM leadership for innovative experiential technology products.
- Proven track record of building early-stage GTM functions and closing six- or seven-figure deals.
- Strong understanding of solution selling and enterprise customer needs.
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable being both strategist and executor.
- Excellent storytelling and relationship-building skills with C-level buyers.
- Lead GTM for a category-defining technology with global market potential.
- Work directly with visionary founders in a company emerging from R&D into commercialization.
- Shape STL’s growth trajectory with high autonomy and significant equity opportunity.
