About the Position
We are looking for a dependable and safety-minded Truck Driver to join our team in Sioux City, IA. This position will be responsible for transporting fabricated materials and products safely and efficiently between our shop, job sites, customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks to deliver and pick up materials and fabricated products
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials in accordance with safety requirements
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Assist with loading and unloading using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery and pickup documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and job-site personnel
- Keep assigned vehicles clean and properly maintained
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations
- Assist in the fabrication shop or with other duties as needed when not driving
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- CDL preferred/required depending on equipment operated
- Previous commercial or industrial driving experience preferred
- Experience hauling steel, fabricated components, or other industrial materials is a plus
- Ability to safely secure and handle loads
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials as required
- Willingness to work as part of a fabrication-shop team
