Job description:
Summit Staffing is seeking an experienced Line Lead to support warehouse operations. The Line Lead will coordinate and manage fill and assembly activities with minimal supervision, ensuring smooth daily operations, proper equipment upkeep, and accurate completion of documentation.
Job Details

- Pay: $20 – $22/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate and execute daily assignments from supervisors.
- Recommend improvements for production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
- Suggest changes to working conditions and equipment use to increase team efficiency.
- Coordinate with relevant departments regarding batch records, quality issues, equipment cleaning, inspections, set-ups, and maintenance.
- Review batch records and standard operating procedures.
- Provide on-the-floor coaching and ensure training files are current.
- Oversee employee performance, train new staff, and cross-train existing employees.
- Coach employees on GMP compliance during production of finished goods.
- Support supervisors in enforcing employee handbook guidelines and maintaining accurate timecard and PTO records.
- Ensure safe equipment use, enforce LOTO procedures, and adhere to OSHA requirements.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, including equipment, fillers, floors, and walls.
- Follow safety procedures, hazardous material handling protocols, and PPE requirements.
- Collect and report data on daily production output versus schedule.
Skills & Experience:
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write basic instructions, memos, and correspondence in English.
- Strong communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).
- Problem-solving skills for standardized situations.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage tasks with a high sense of urgency.
- Comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
