Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing
Night Shift Available
We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and production efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers long-term potential for skilled technicians with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.

- Monday–Friday | 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires hands-on mechanical expertise, working knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to respond quickly to downtime situations. Safety compliance and teamwork are essential.
Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on manufacturing equipment
- Service A/C motors, gearboxes, presses, resistance welders, and roll forming systems
- Support changeovers on welders, mills, punch machines, and rooftop press systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and recommend improvements to PM programs
- Replace worn components, lubricants, and consumables
- Identify and source required spare parts
Technical & Operational Support
- Provide daily maintenance updates to supervisors and leadership
- Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and work orders
- Conduct inspections per SOPs and technical manuals
- Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
- Assist with basic HMI troubleshooting
- Operate propane forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Perform general facility maintenance as needed
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in alignment with 5S standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in training and mentoring other maintenance personnel
- Support cross-functional teams to maintain production flow
Qualifications
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment
- Hands-on experience with presses, mills, and welding systems
- Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and industrial electrical troubleshooting
- Basic PLC understanding (function and diagnostics)
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and maintenance documentation
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Consistent attendance and accountability
