What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Summit Skilled Solutions?
Currently seeking a Construction Laborer. Overtime is available for this position and it is year-round. Approximately 75% of this position's is travel, and all costs are covered. The length of each trip will be 1-2 weeks, with a minimum of 2-4 days spent at home in between.
Construction Laborer Duties:
- Concrete repairs and improvements, as well as knowledge of various trowel down techniques.
- Possess the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis during the day.
- Operating jackhammer for extended periods
- Transport tools and supplies.
- Keep the area and the equipment clean.
- Demo work and site clean up.
Construction Laborer Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be willing to travel 75% of the time when local work is not available.
- Strong commitment to jobsite safety.
- Must be willing to work with concrete and epoxy.
Construction Laborer Compensation:
- Starting pay of $19-$21 per hour for qualified candidates (based on experience)
- Paid travel time, hotel, AND $40 per day per diem.
