Fabricator/Fitter - 2nd shift - 100% Paid Benefits Package
As a Fabricator/Fitter you will be an essential part of our construction team, responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality.
Fabricator/Fitter Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and welding equipment to fabricate metal components according to design requirements.
- Perform FCAW welding tasks with precision to ensure structural integrity.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute tasks efficiently on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist in the setup and operation of press brake machines as needed.
- Provide support in training new team members on welding techniques and safety practices.
Fabricator/Fitter Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding and fitting, preferably within an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with FCAW welding processes is essential for this role.
- Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication.
- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols.
- Knowledge of calipers and other measuring tools is a plus.
- Ability to fabricate metal components based on project specifications.
