Summit Service Solutions has supported the construction trades for 20 years, and we’re growing our team of seasoned commercial electricians for long-term projects across the Harrisburg, PA area. This is a full-time, first-shift role paying $28–$35 per hour based on experience, contributing to new builds, renovations, and electrical upgrades.

A day in the life

You arrive on site with your gear, review the latest one-line diagrams, and map out the day’s conduit runs. By mid-morning you’re bending EMT with a hand bender, routing rigid and IMC, and pulling feeders. After lunch, you’re setting panels and transformers, terminating branch circuits, and bringing lighting and devices online. You close out the day validating against the NEC, documenting tests, and coordinating tomorrow’s work with other trades—always with safety at the forefront.

What you’ll tackle

• Install and fabricate conduit: EMT, Rigid, IMC, and flexible; hand and mechanical bending
• Power and lighting: Pull and terminate branch and feeder conductors; set lighting systems, receptacles, switches, and devices
• Distribution: Install panels, disconnects, transformers, and switchgear; mount and wire electrical equipment
• Plans and layout: Read blueprints, electrical schematics, and one-line diagrams; lay out conduit runs; coordinate with multiple trades
• Quality and troubleshooting: Test circuits/equipment with meters and other instruments; diagnose issues; verify compliance with NEC
• Safety: Follow OSHA requirements and maintain an organized, clean work area

What you bring

• 5 years of commercial electrical construction experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Demonstrated EMT installation and bending expertise
• Capability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed
• Your own standard electrical hand tools and OSHA-compliant PPE
• Knowledge of OSHA and NEC (OSHA certification a plus, not required)

Compensation and benefits
