Summary
Summit Ridge Energy (“SRE”) is seeking an entry-level Asset Management Analyst who is interested in breaking into the renewable energy field. The Asset Management Analyst’s role is to provide project and portfolio-level support for the organization to ensure maximum value is generated from our portfolio of solar and BESS assets. The Analyst supports the Asset Management team in managing all operational, financial, and compliance responsibilities across the fleet.

The Analyst supports the Asset Management team in managing all operational, financial, and compliance responsibilities across the fleet.
Role And Responsibilities
- Manage operational performance of community solar and storage assets across multiple markets to ensure optimal financial performance
- Consolidate monthly performance KPIs and distribute reports to investors (P50, weather-adjusted production, inverter availability, loss waterfall, etc.)
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to facilitate payments of quarterly tax equity investor returns, debt service obligations, and JV-level distributions
- Evaluate portfolio cashflows and AP/AR to determine cash available for distributions to sponsors
- Draft and maintain annual project, partnership, and JV-level budgets to track performance against modeled and budgeted assumptions on an ongoing basis
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to operational/financial performance or compliance with contractual requirements
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports as well as quarterly deliverables for stakeholders across the capital stack. Provide succinct summaries of factors driving performance variance in both formal and informal communications with external parties.
- Serve as the point of contact for all relevant project stakeholders (financial partners, landowners, municipalities, county/state AHJs, O&M providers, 3 rd party subscription managers, REC counterparties, EIA, etc.)
- Become SME in each market SRE has operating projects in (program rules, stakeholder requirements, regulatory environment, revenue stack components/timing, utility coordination, rate assumptions/RTO mechanics – energy & capacity, etc.)
- Administer AP/AR at the fund level (invoice approvals, payment processing, PPA revenue tracking, etc.)
- Apply for, and ensure receipt of, applicable program incentives (rebates, SREC’s, etc.)
- Onboard completed projects under SRE Asset Management’s purview; work closely with SRE’s Project Finance, Operations/Construction, Development, and Accounting teams
- Additional responsibilities as required
- Bachelor’s in finance, economics, energy, sustainability, engineering, or equivalent degree
- Strong project management skills, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and meet short deadlines
- Ability to draft concise, impactful memos to internal and external stakeholders
- Strong adaptability and willingness to change process or tact based on evolving circumstances or management direction
- Ambitious, fast learner with a strong work ethic
- Enthusiasm for renewables and solar industry, and a desire to build a career in this industry long term
- Authorization to work in the U.S.

Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
