Assuring that all day-to-day operations in the clinic are completed before the end of the business day. Will collaborate with Providers to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of care resulting in the best-in-market experience for patients and the referring community. Coordinates all operational and service aspects of assigned clinic, including the patient scheduling, quality scheduling, quality and patient satisfaction efforts, regulatory compliance, and expense management.
- Medical Assistant Certification is preferred.

- Responsible for patient flow including pre-examination triage, documentation of vital signs, summary of patient complaints, documentation of patient's medical history, current medications and allergies.

- Following doctor's exam, reviews and administers orders, including tests, shots, and other procedures within his/her competence.
- Ensure all imaging orders are completed and in the patient's chart.
- Coordinates referrals, office injections, EKG's and blood draws.
- Gives patients relevant instructions as agreed with physician.
- Maintains inventory of clinical supplies at a reasonable level, medicines are in current status and keeps clinical area neat and clean.
- Responsible for infection control program, hazardous waste disposal, and OSHA/CLIA compliance office.
- Liaison with laboratory and does office laboratory tests as directed by physician.
- Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job-related hazards.
- Follows the Hospital Exposure Control Plans/Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens.
- Performs all required responsibilities/duties addressing the ages of the patients served if responsible for the assessment, treatment, or care of patients.
- Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter and intra departmentally to facilitate the department's/unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives.
- Promotes good stewardship of hospital resources while ensuring quality patient care.
- Collaborates with hospital departments to resolve operational problems.
- Monitors the appointment schedule to ensure the schedule reflects the ability to provide patient care services in a timely manner.
- Establishes, promotes, and maintains a positive working relationship with clinicians.
- Supports and participates in continuing education and other appropriate experiences to improve professional competence.
- Always presents a positive and professional demeanor.
- Complies with organizational policies and procedures.
- Consistently on time and ready to begin work at the start of the workday.
