Fleet Manager / Truck Boss

Job Description:
LeGrand Johnsonis currently hiring for a Fleet Manager Truck Boss. This position is responsible for ensuring that vehicles and driver are being utilized to their fullest potential in a safe manner.
Responsibilities

• Vehicle scheduling and dispatch
• Vehicle inspection and maintenance
• Monitoring, correcting, and improving driving behavior and operations.
• Mentoring and coaching drivers
• Setting drivers schedules
• Tracking driver attendance, health, and other statuses.
• Ensuring drivers adhere to applicable transportation regulations
• Maintaining communication with drivers
• Train drivers on risk management protocols, safety standards etc
• Fleet performance and expenses
• Maintain lists of active vehicles and vehicles in need of repair.

Job Requirements:

• CDL Class A Required
• Equivalent related work experience.
• 1-3years previous experience in related industry preferred
• Demonstrated decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines
