Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Alexandria, VA, for a Community Association Portfolio Manager. The manager will oversee a portfolio of community associations, ensuring the efficient management of daily operations, financial oversight, and compliance with governing documents and legal requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating board and committee meetings, preparing and managing budgets, reviewing and enforcing community rules, maintaining vendor relationships, and fostering positive communication with residents and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple associations and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with board members, residents, and vendors.
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and compliance with governing documents and regulations.
- Ability to lead meetings, prepare detailed reports, and ensure clear and concise documentation.
- Proficiency in property management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other management tools.
- Certification such as a CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) is required. AMS (Association Management Specialist) is preferred but not required.
- Experience in property or community association management is highly desirable.
