Lead Teacher – Child Care Center
The Lead Teacher is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports the developmental needs of young children. This role involves designing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, supervising classroom staff, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, and building strong partnerships with families.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum & Instruction

Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development

Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity

Observe and assess children’s development and adapt to meet individual needs

Incorporate play-based and hands-on learning experiences
Classroom Management

Maintain a structured, organized, and positive classroom environment

Establish and reinforce classroom routines, expectations, and behavior management strategies

Ensure a clean, safe, and developmentally appropriate space for children
Staff Leadership & Collaboration

Supervise and support assistants
