Summit Landscapes LLC, Gunnison, CO | Full-time | 30 to 50 hrs/week (seasonal workload varies)
Work is roughly 50/50 maintenance and build (with opportunities to cross-train in irrigation, snow and carpentry).

We’re hiring a dependable Landscape Technician to support our foreman in the field. If you take pride in quality work, show up ready, and want to grow your skills and responsibility over time, we want to talk.
What you’ll do (day to day)
You’ll be an active, hands-on contributor on a 2-person crew, working alongside the foreman to deliver clean, professional results.
- Execute landscape maintenance and install tasks (bed prep, pruning, planting, edging, cleanup, detailing, hauling)
- Take ownership of assigned tasks from start to finish, with clear quality expectations
- Read the job plan for the day with the foreman, ask smart questions, and help sequence the work
- Operate and care for tools and equipment safely (we’ll train you where needed)
- Spot issues early (access, materials, site conditions, scope questions) and communicate them before they turn into delays
- Maintain a clean, organized, customer-ready job site throughout the day, not just at the end
- Help with daily load-out and end-of-day load-in, keeping the truck and trailer organized and ready
- Represent Summit professionally on site, communicate clearly, and treat customer property with respect

Must-haves
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
- Reliable transportation to start each day
- Dependable attendance, on time, ready to work
- Coachable, positive attitude, team oriented
- Able to do physical outdoor work in changing weather
Preferred (not required)
- Landscaping, hardscape, construction, irrigation, or snow experience
- Equipment experience (skid steer, mini-ex, etc.)
- Strong eye for detail and pride in craftsmanship
Pay, schedule, and growth
- $20 to $27/hr (DOE)
- 30 to 50 hrs/week, depending on season and workload
- Performance-based raises and growth opportunities for people who take ownership and raise the standard
