Job Summary:
- Cold Calling is the foundation of this role, this job is not for the shy, weak, or those afraid of rejection.
- Salespeople will be responsible for targeting new accounts, maintaining and fostering new business from existing customers
- Summit is a growing company with a 35 year track record of quality installations and attention to detail. We are committed to expanding geographically in the Southeast. Salespeople have the opportunity at Summit to expand into new markets to increase commission potential.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Required, Bachelors Degree preferred
- At least Two (2) Years of Sales Experience in applicable field(s) (i.e. Service Sales, Home Services, Construction, Building materials)
- Basic Understanding of Industrial Flooring systems and their intended applications (i.e. Polished concrete, Resinous Flooring Systems, Resurfacing and Concrete Restoration)
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to utilize CRM systems
- Experience with Construction Estimating software is preferred
Essential Functions
- Develop new and manage existing accounts in customer base
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals
- Provide constant communication and promote services provided by company
- Consult and specify flooring systems to meet customer needs in compliance with industry standards
- Participate and coordinate trade shows, architect / property manager / Industrial expos, and marketing functions to increase Summit's market share
- Create leads for service work through cold calling, referrals, account management, and networking
- Provide operations team with necessary information and support for success of the project
- Assist in receivable duties associated with your accounts when directed by management
- Participate in sales trainings and obtain continuing education by participating in available manufacturer seminars and conferences (Travel often required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
