The Human Resource Mentorship / Compliance position supports payroll processing, employee compliance, onboarding, and administrative operations. This role is responsible for assisting with weekly payroll, maintaining employee records, mentoring newly hired aides through their onboarding and supervisory period, ensuring compliance requirements are met, and providing ongoing support to applicants and employees. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, bilingual in English and Spanish, and able to effectively manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with processing weekly payroll, including reviewing timesheets for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain payroll records and employee information in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Respond to payroll and administrative inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Serve as an HR mentor for newly hired aides by monitoring performance and engagement after hire
  • Ensure aides are actively accepting and attending scheduled work assignments
  • Monitor and support aides through the initial 4-week supervisory period to ensure successful transition and performance
  • Maintain compliance for both new and existing aides by tracking required documentation, certifications, and training updates
  • Answer applicant and employee inquiries via phone, email, and text in a timely and professional manner
  • Store, organize, maintain, and update employee and applicant files
  • Prepare, file, and submit paperwork to the appropriate departments and divisions
  • Work across multiple software platforms to enter, maintain, and verify data accuracy
  • Participate in and support special projects, including process improvements, system implementations, and administrative initiatives
  • Perform additional HR, payroll, and administrative duties as assigned


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to speak fluent English and Spanish. Really, if you don't speak BOTH FLUENT ENGLISH and FLUENT SPANISH, DO NOT APPLY. We aren't going to make an exception and nothing on your resume is going to impress us enough to change that.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and general computer literacy
  • Experience with HHA Exchange a plus
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a positive personal and professional image
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with poise, understanding and tact
