Job Summary:
Summit Heating and Cooling is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Lead Installer to join our growing team. The HVAC Lead Installer will be responsible for leading installation crews, ensuring high-quality HVAC system installations, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise HVAC installation teams on residential and light commercial projects
- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related components
- Read and interpret blueprints, installation manuals, and building codes
- Ensure all installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes
- Train and mentor junior installers and apprentices
- Maintain clear communication with customers, office staff, and project managers
- Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure systems are operating properly before completion
- Maintain job site cleanliness and safety standards
- Manage tools, equipment, and materials needed for installations
Qualifications:
- 3 years of HVAC installation experience
- Proven experience leading installation crews
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and installation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- EPA Certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, etc.)

Salary : $26 - $40
