We are currently partnering with a distinguished skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Kingsport, TN to find an Assistant Director of Nursing who brings true passion to their clinical leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support: Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing all nursing services to ensure exceptional resident outcomes.
- Staff Mentorship: Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance, fostering a culture of professional growth, teamwork, and excellence.
- Regulatory Excellence: Ensure strict compliance with nursing standards of care and state/federal regulatory requirements.
- Resource Management: Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management to ensure units are efficiently operated and adequately supported.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in QA/PI activities and coordinate ongoing education and training for the nursing team.
- Leadership Continuity: Serve as the acting Director of Nursing in the DON’s absence, providing seamless leadership for the facility.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree or higher from an accredited college.
- Licensure: Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Experience: Proven management experience within a Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing setting.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a natural talent for motivating a diverse clinical team.
