We are looking for a SVP, Head of Operations to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Be a strategic partner to the company’s leadership
- Provide long-term program growth and planning for operations
- Assist the Operations team and managers daily with comprehensive oversight and management of the operations for all of the operational staff
- Provide leadership, guidance and consultation to employees covering a broad range of policies and procedures
- Oversight of the delivery of the day-to-day, hands-on administration of operational procedures
- Ensure the success of efforts spanning the entire workday lifecycle including planning, testing, implementation, enhancement updates, and procedure releases which includes all normal production activities such as:
-Business process administration
-Security administration
-Reporting
-Testing
-Quality assurance
-New solutions built on the existing platform to meet future business needs
-Implementation of new operational systems and custodians
- Implement strategy with long-range forecasting and strategic planning
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to resolve inconsistencies and rectify processing issues and handle day to day approvals
- Work closely with the Managers on the team to implement departmental initiatives directed at improving the quality and delivery of operation services
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ideal Candidate will have at least 10-15 years relevant industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in an Operational Managerial role at a mid to large retail RIA with a multi-custodial platform
- Experience in RIA, custody or brokerage industry, asset managers a must
- Experience with custodians Fidelity, Charles Schwab, Pershing, or Goldman Sachs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in employee relations principles and practices including conflict resolution techniques
- Knowledgeable on applicable operations management principles, practices, methods, and procedures required
- Must be able to function independently and exercise discretion and sound judgment
- Confidentiality and discretion are required, as is the demonstrated ability to forge partnerships
- Ability to set priorities, handle multiple assignments, and work with resourcefulness and efficiency in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills necessary
- Team player with demonstrated initiative/leadership through participation in job related
- Attention to detail
- Skilled at follow-up and prioritizing business critical tasks
- Experience with a multi-custodial platform
