We are looking for a Financial Planner to join our growing team. The role is responsible for supporting the Advisors in the preparation and presentation of financial plans and various planning analyses to clients. This includes the implementation of financial recommendations and acting as the “point person” on all planning questions and analyses. Duties will include gathering financial information from clients and inputting it into various financial planning software.
Responsibilities
- Work with Wealth Advisors to gain an understanding of the client's background and objectives.
- Inherent understanding of financial planning
- Present plans and various analyses to clients and act as the “point person” on all planning questions and analyses.
- Input client information into various web-based software (financial planning, tax planning, Social Security planning).
- Perform various financial analyses and reviews
- Create financial plans to be presented at meetings, update financial plans as necessary, and answer all planning questions for clients.
- Process paperwork for requested transactions pertaining to investments, insurance, and annuities
- Review and modify systems to enhance the financial planning experience.
- Act as Salesforce liaison with Advisors.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Be enthusiastic about financial planning; strive to always be better and learn more
- Experience working with Fidelity as a custodian preferred
Other Skills:
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, eMoney, and Salesforce experience preferred.
- Excellent phone and personal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Drive for professional growth
- Ability to handle a high volume, fast-paced environment and work independently
- Team-oriented
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Interested in pursuing applicable license if not currently held: Series 65, or CFP designation
- 3-5 years’ experience in the brokerage, insurance, or financial industry
