Senior Electrical Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This individual will be responsible for managing project execution, maintaining strong client relationships, overseeing financial performance, and partnering with field leadership to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of commercial electrical construction projects, from planning through final closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead client meetings and serve as the primary point of contact throughout project execution.
• Partner closely with Superintendents and field leadership to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and contract administration.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to support project milestones.
• Monitor labor productivity, project costs, and overall financial performance.
• Identify and resolve project challenges before they impact schedule or profitability.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, engineers, and project partners.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers while supporting their professional growth.

Qualifications

• 7 years of Project Management experience within commercial electrical construction.
• Proven experience managing commercial electrical projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and contract management.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Experience with Design-Build, negotiated work, or CMAR delivery methods.
• Experience with commercial, healthcare, mission critical, industrial, manufacturing, or institutional electrical projects.
