Job Overview

We're seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to lead power architecture and electrical system design for tactical vehicle platforms operating in extreme environments. You’ll develop and oversee reliable electrical systems supporting comms, lighting, thermal imaging, and mission-critical equipment while bringing strong technical leadership and hands-on engineering expertise.

Responsibilities of the Lead Electrical Engineer:

• Manage and direct a team of Electrical and Mechatronic Engineers
• Lead the design of electrical schematics and power distribution systems for vehicle platforms
• Oversee selection of critical electrical components to ensure durability and performance
• Manage the full prototyping and testing lifecycle for new integrated systems
• Establish and enforce standards for wire harness design and routing
• Ensure compliance with engineering best practices and safety standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production and engineering teams

Requirements of the Lead Electrical Engineer:

• 10 years of Electrical Engineering experience (5 years in a relevant hands-on role)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar design software
• Strong understanding of 12V/24V DC electrical systems
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, or heavy equipment electrical design
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
