The starting Range starts at $34.00 depending on experience
A growing & progressive private pediatrician office is looking to hire full-time RNs to meet our expanding patient base. This position works collaboratively with all other staff to assist the patient and facilitate successful patient interaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Triage Patients
- Administer medications/vaccines as ordered
- Record in charts; document patient communications in the medical record
- Perform duties and assist providers as part of the practice care team
- Maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, families, and co-workers
Qualifications:
- Valid RN NYS nursing license
- Knowledge of nursing processes; health care systems, structure, and functions
- Understanding of healthcare technology, equipment, and supplies.
- Knowledge of state law regarding nursing care, nurse practice guidelines, and office policies and procedures.
- Current CPR Certification
Desired Qualifications:
- One or more years of experience preferred but not required
- Experience with electronic medical records, Medent preferred
Must be available to work occasional Monday evenings and an occasional 1/2 day on Saturday (8:30 am to approximately 1:00 pm. (Once every 4th or 5th Saturday or Monday)
