Our team of board-certified physicians, nationally certified nurse practitioners, and NYS licensed nurses provides cutting-edge health care to patients in a friendly, welcoming environment.
***MUST BE A CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT (CMA) *** Starting range depends on experience $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Triage patients.
- Assist in our comprehensive on-site laboratory
- phlebotomy and sample collection
- Perform vision/hearing/EKG testing, document patient communications in the medical record
- Perform duties and assist providers as part of the practice care team
- Establishes and maintains good interpersonal relationships with patients, families, the public, and co-workers.
Qualifications:
- Completion of MA program with certification
- Phlebotomy
- Knowledge of medical processes; health care systems, structure, and functions
- Knowledge of state law regarding medical assisting, practice guidelines, and office policies and procedures
- Experience with electronic medical records. (Medent) a plus
Must be available to work some evenings and occasional half-day Saturdays in the morning.
Salary commensurate with experience.
