Summerwood Pediatrics is a well-established, progressive office. We are a primary care practice caring for children from birth to 22 years of age. Our team of board-certified physicians, nationally certified nurse practitioners, and NYS licensed nurses to provide cutting-edge health care to patients in a friendly, welcoming environment.
With our Liverpool location growing, we want to hire experienced LPNs to meet our expanding patient base. (Starting pay is $26.00, depending on experience)
Job Responsibilities:
- Triage patients.
- Administer medications/vaccines as ordered
- Perform vision/hearing/EKG testing; document patient communications in the medical record
- Perform duties and assist providers as part of the practice care team
- Establishes and maintains good interpersonal relationships with patients, families, the public, and co-workers.
Qualifications:
- NYS Valid LPN nursing license
- Knowledge of nursing processes; health care systems, structure, and functions
- Knowledge of state law regarding nursing care, nurse practice guidelines, and office policies and procedures.
- Experience with electronic medical records. (Medent) a plus.
Must be available to work occasional Monday evenings and an occasional 1/2 day on Saturday (8:30 am to approximately 1:00 pm. (Once every 4th or 5th Saturday or Monday)
