Marketing Generalist – Hopkinsville Branch

Position Summary

Summertown Metals is seeking a full-time Marketing Generalist for our Hopkinsville branch. This position will support and manage local marketing efforts for the branch, including social media coordination, event support, promotional materials, community engagement, and branch-specific marketing needs.

The right candidate will be organized, dependable, creative, and comfortable representing Summertown Metals in a professional marketing capacity at local events and within the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary marketing contact for the Hopkinsville branch.
• Coordinate and support local branch marketing projects, promotions, and campaigns.
• Attend, set up, and represent Summertown Metals at assigned local Hopkinsville-area marketing events.
• Help coordinate event materials such as flyers, banners, signage, graphics, promotional items, and other marketing resources.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and posting social media content for branch-related marketing needs.
• Help keep branch marketing projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with company branding.
• Communicate regularly with branch leadership and the marketing team to keep priorities clear and projects moving forward.
• Track assigned marketing tasks and follow up to ensure deadlines are met.
• Support consistent messaging across social media, events, printed materials, and local promotions.
• Bring ideas and initiative to improve local marketing, community awareness, and customer engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Marketing, social media, event coordination, communications, or related experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable representing the company professionally in public and at local events.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
• Basic understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, or similar platforms.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Must be willing to attend and support assigned local marketing events for the Hopkinsville branch.

Work Schedule and Event Expectations

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 50 hours per week.

Local marketing events are an important part of this role. Attendance, setup, and company representation at assigned Hopkinsville-area events will be expected. Some events may require weekend work as needed.
