Inventory Manager/Logistician: Summerhill Landscapes, Inc. (Sag Harbor, NY) seeks an Inventory Manager/Logistician to manage a team of staff within Summerhill Landscapes. Duties include but are not limited to maintaining and updating farm inventory records, coordinating the process for tracking plant inventory and establishing the best practice tagging standards. Utilize the SAP Plant Tracking System (PTS) to scan, manage and document plant shrub and materials on the farm, perform quality checks on plants inventory and report any discrepancies. Be the point of contact for inventory related questions and tag all materials for prospects and inventory in the field or upon arrival at the staging yard. Analyze and coordinate all ongoing functions of Summerhill Landscapes. Requirements: 2 years experience in a similar role including experience in inventory management, quality control and record keeping. Horticulture knowledge with the ability to identify landscape materials. Proficiency in SAP and PTS or similar inventory management systems. Technical aptitude and a passion for problem solving and efficiency improvement. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Salary: $66,560/year.
