Summer Kitchen Cafe is a fast-paced, locally loved breakfast and lunch restaurant located just steps from the beach. We're looking for a dependable and energetic Short Order Grill Cook to join our team.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Breakfast service: 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM
• Lunch service: 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Full-time or part-time available

Pay & Benefits:

• Starting pay: $14.00 per hour
• Daily tip share can bring total earnings to $20–$40 per hour, depending on business levels and season

Responsibilities:

• Prepare breakfast and lunch menu items quickly and consistently
• Operate the grill and cooking stations during service
• Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and kitchen organization
• Assist with prep work and stocking
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Work as part of a team to provide an excellent guest experience

Qualifications:

• Previous grill cook, line cook, or short-order cooking experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable transportation required
• Dependable attendance is a must
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
