OVERVIEW
The Office Manager is the heartbeat of our workplace—keeping our LA office running seamlessly while cultivating a warm, inspiring, and organized environment that reflects the Summer Fridays brand. This role blends office operations with administrative support for both Human Resources and Legal, ensuring smooth internal processes and an exceptional employee experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Office & Culture Operations
- Manage the front desk
- Keep the Summer Fridays office environment beautiful, functional, and welcoming—reflecting our brand’s clean and calming aesthetic.
- Manage daily operations, including office supplies, snacks, equipment, and vendor coordination.
- Serve as the main point of contact for building management.
- Coordinate office moments that elevate team connection—team meetings, off-sites, celebrations, and seasonal activities.
- Ensure that the office, conference rooms, and shared spaces are always organized, clean, and guest-ready.
- Manage office and parking key cards, ensuring access is maintained and distributed as needed.
- Support space planning, seating charts, and facilities needs as the company grows.
- Manage clerical duties such as sorting and distributing mail/packages, ensuring smooth office operations.
- Own office budget tracking and expense management.
- Support company-wide communication and maintain a clear and organized flow of information.
Human Resources Support
- Partner with HR to create a seamless and warm onboarding experience for new hires—from welcome materials to first-day logistics.
- Maintain employee records and HR systems (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with offboarding, performance processes, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Help plan and support team-building moments, wellness activities, and culture programs.
- Provide day-to-day employee support, redirecting questions to HR as needed.
Legal Administrative Support
- Assist with contract processing, filing, and document management—including routing through approval and signature workflows.
- Maintain organized digital archives of agreements, NDAs, and compliance documents.
- Support communication between the Legal team and internal/external partners with professionalism and discretion.
- Track deadlines, contract renewals, and compliance tasks to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Additional tasks as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of office management or administrative experience; background supporting HR or Legal teams is a plus.
- Passion for creating an organized, beautiful, and thoughtfully run workspace.
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, HR technology (HRIS), and digital communication systems.
- A genuine team player with a positive attitude and a hospitality mindset.
- Must be able to work in the office 5 days a week.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
