Summer Breeze Salon is looking for a Salon Coordinator with exceptional customer service skills and the initiative to grow into an Assistant Manager role.

We are a full-service salon offering hair, nails, skincare, massage, and other beauty services in a welcoming environment where beauty meets wellness. We want someone who takes pride in creating a smooth, personal experience for every guest and helping the team deliver its best work.

About the Role

You will take ownership of the front desk and guest experience while learning our services, systems, and daily operations. Working closely with the owner and team, you will help coordinate appointments, resolve client concerns, support staff, and identify opportunities to improve the salon.

Progression into assistant management will be based on demonstrated customer service, sound judgment, reliability, and leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service from their first inquiry through checkout.
• Manage calls, messages, appointments, payments, and client records accurately.
• Coordinate bookings across departments, communicate schedule changes, and help minimize gaps and delays.
• Listen carefully to client concerns, respond calmly, and follow through on appropriate solutions.
• Learn our services and products so you can confidently explain options and make thoughtful recommendations.
• Encourage rebooking and introduce relevant services, memberships, gift cards, and retail products.
• Support daily opening and closing procedures, front desk organization, and inventory coordination.
• Help maintain clear, respectful communication between clients, service providers, and the owner.
• As your responsibilities grow, help train front desk staff and reinforce consistent service standards.

Who We’re Looking For

• Proven customer service experience in a salon, spa, hospitality, retail, or another service-focused setting.
• A warm, professional communicator who listens well and follows through.
• Someone who can handle an unhappy guest with patience, discretion, and good judgment.
• Strong organization and attention to detail while managing several priorities.
• Confidence using appointment software, payment systems, email, and basic computer tools.
• Dependability, initiative, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
• Interest in beauty and wellness and a desire to develop leadership skills.

Salon or spa experience and previous team leadership are preferred. Strong candidates from other customer service backgrounds are welcome to apply.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
