CDL FUEL DELIVERY DRIVER - HAZMAT/TANKER - NIGHT SHIFT

$28–$32/hour | Full-Time | Tuesday–Saturday | Home Daily | Year-Round Work

We are hiring professional CDL fuel delivery drivers for our night operation in Clifton, New Jersey.

THIS IS NOT A PASSENGER, SCHOOL BUS, RIDESHARE, PACKAGE DELIVERY OR LOCAL COURIER POSITION.

This is a hands-on petroleum delivery position. Drivers operate commercial fuel trucks carrying diesel and gasoline and make multiple deliveries throughout the shift, primarily fueling commercial trucks and equipment directly through their saddle tanks.

REQUIRED — PLEASE DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT THESE QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B
• Hazmat endorsement
• Tanker endorsement
• Current TWIC card
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean and acceptable MVR
• Minimum 3 years of commercial CDL driving experience
• Must currently reside in New Jersey
• Must be available for a permanent night schedule
• Must be comfortable handling diesel and gasoline and working outdoors year-round

Passenger-only, school bus, rideshare, delivery van and non-CDL driving experience does not meet our commercial driving experience requirement.

Previous fuel, petroleum, tanker, heating oil, propane, chemical, vacuum truck or other liquid-bulk transportation experience is strongly preferred.

We will provide paid training on our specific fuel-delivery procedures and equipment to otherwise qualified CDL/Hazmat/Tanker drivers.

WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO

Drivers are responsible for the complete delivery process, not simply driving the truck.

You will:

• Drive a commercial fuel truck to petroleum terminals
• Load diesel and gasoline at fuel terminals
• Transport hazardous materials safely
• Deliver diesel and gasoline directly into commercial vehicle saddle tanks and equipment
• Handle and pull fuel hoses repeatedly throughout the shift
• Track gallons loaded, transferred and delivered
• Follow assigned routes and delivery sequences
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete electronic delivery records accurately
• Maintain continuous communication with dispatch
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, Hazmat and company safety procedures
• Lift 50 pounds and climb on equipment when required

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

Tuesday through Saturday – Night Shift

$28–$32/hour depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Typical week: 40–50 hours
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Home daily
• Year-round work
• Paid training
• Higher starting compensation may be available for experienced petroleum/fuel delivery drivers

EQUIPMENT

Our fleet includes Freightliner, Mack and International commercial trucks, including straight trucks. Manual-transmission experience is a plus.

Applicants must currently reside in New Jersey. Commuting expenses and tolls to and from work are not reimbursed.
