What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Associate position at SumiRiko Tennessee?
Reports to Quality Assurance Team Leader. Responsibilities include product/process audits, administrative reports, training, and departmental assignments being completed in full and on time.
Job Duties Include But Not Limited To:
Work to resolve team leader and associate daily quality concerns.
Perform daily product/process audits.
Communicate with production personnel on internal findings and follow-up with team leaders and associates on counter measure input.
Assist in the control of SPC and KQC checks by communicating with associates and team leaders.
Communicate process changes to Q.A. Engineering.
Support administrative activities and reports.
Assist with Gage R & R studies.
Assist with departmental reports.
Perform data entry.
Recommend Key Quality Characteristics other than current or those required by customers.
Assist in maintaining visual management area.
Assist with disposition of non-conforming material.
Attend and participate in Q.A. Team meetings.
Must communicate effectively with counter parts from other shifts.
Must inform appropriate personnel of any issues found.
Help to develop and maintain quality standards.
Perform various product tests – which consists of lifting a fixture with a part attached (estimated 25 pounds)
Verify product conformance.
Identify non-conforming product.
Review incoming data.
Perform product reliability testing.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds lbs.
This is a position that requires standing and walking most of the time. It is not a sitting position.
This position requires occasional stepping up onto a platform.
REQUIREMENTS
Position requires a High School Diploma, GED Diploma or equivalent - training and or experience.
