The Project Assistant is responsible for supporting project teams by performing administrative and coordination tasks, including updating schedules, tracking resources, and assisting with documentation.
This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously.
This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large, Division / Extra Large organization.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in updating project schedules and resource plans.
Support the preparation of project documentation and reports.
Coordinate logistics for meetings and project-related events.
Maintain project files and records.
Provide general administrative support to project teams.
Skills & Qualifications
May require basic vocational training (or equivalent work experience) and up to 2 years of relevant experience to carry out the role.
Required Skills
Basic understanding of project coordination.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with office software (e.g., Word, Excel).
Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn and support team objectives.
