Assist Archives staff in their duties to provide a variety of services to patrons, promote and advocate for the archival collections, and process and provide access to archival materials.Clerical duties may include: data entry, filing, photocopying, sorting, shredding, replenish office supplies, etc.General duties may include: pulling and re-shelving books and archival materials; shelf reading, straightening, and dusting of book collection; assisting with shifting of book and archival collections; washing gloves; keeping work and research areas clear and clean; assisting archive staff with classes & groups; observe security/safety procedures always.Specialized duties (training provided) may include: handling of archival materials in a variety of formats, assisting with housing and or processing of archival materials, use of equipment and specialized software, such as scanners and microfilm readers.May contact Victoria Contreras to learn more about position, located in Library 216, Ext. #8388, Victoria.Contreras@sulross.edu .
