The Languages & Literature Department periodically seeks a qualified, part-time instructor to teach English or composition courses.Teach English courses at a variety of times and locationsCreate engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the materialUse a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelinesEvaluates students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and informs students in a timely manner of their progressMaintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.Position is security sensitive.Any qualifications to be considered in lieu of stated minimums require the prior approval of the Human Resources Director.Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
