Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized, motivated individual for the entry-level position of Project Coordinator. This role will work closely with our Preconstruction Manager to support various preconstruction activities, including managing bid opportunities, maintaining bid schedules, and assisting with the preparation and coordination of project documentation. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for growth within the company for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
This is an Entry Level Position.
- Bid Management: Process all invitations to bid and assist in seeking out new bid opportunities. Ensure that all relevant bid documents and requests are reviewed and distributed to the appropriate team members.
- Bid Calendar Management: Maintain and track the bid calendar, ensuring that deadlines are met and all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted on time.
- Document Coordination: Print and organize all drawings, specifications, and related documents for the project management and production teams, ensuring accuracy and availability for ongoing projects.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Enter and maintain accurate records of bid opportunities, project details, and other related information in project management systems or databases.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the preconstruction team, including filing, documentation organization, and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the construction and roofing industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college education or relevant coursework a plus).
- Familiarity with construction terminology and processes is a bonus.
Pay to be determined based on experience.
