Summary

Compensation
The base salary range offered for this role will be between $110,000 and $125,000. When determining a candidate’s compensation offer, elements unique to each person are taken into consideration including but not limited to skill set, experience level, performance, professional certifications, degrees and location, as well as the needs of the Firm. The total compensation package for this position may include overtime pay, discretionary bonuses and other benefits. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Serve as the central liaison for incoming work request to the Document Services Department.
- Receive, review, log, prioritize, and assign incoming requests to appropriate team members based on skillset and availability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for attorneys and staff submitting work; provide timely updates on job status, expected completion times, and follow-ups on incomplete or unclear requests.
- Perform a quality check of completed documents when necessary to ensure accuracy and adherence to Firm standards.
- Coordinate with the other Control Desk coordinators across shifts to ensure smooth transition and continuity of any in-progress or pending jobs.
- Ensure all work is handled in accordance with firm confidentiality policies, document standards, and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with legal comparison software (Workshare Compare, Litera, DeltaView, etc.)
- Strong multitasking and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in legal document production, with at least 1 year in a control desk, workflow coordination, or supervisory role.
