What are the responsibilities and job description for the Handyman/Manager position at Sullivan Construction Inc.?
Local Pullman construction company of 29 years (Sullivan-Built.com) looking to hire a Handyman for a wide variety of construction/remodel jobs AND to also manage jobs. This is an On-site job and and also an Office job. (Its not a heavy manual labor job.) Looking for someone who is a jack of all/some trades, helping with the carpentry projects & remodel, minor demo, painting, drywall patching, light framing and trim, etc. Plus coordination/communication with subs and also the customer. Eventually doing job costs & price estimates. You would be working with the main Project Manager during many stages of each job, so it would be preferable to have a minimum basic knowledge of construction. The more versatile you are and the more broad your skills range, will determine your starting pay. We are a growing company, with on average about a dozen employees in the field, so their is room for advancement. Must be able to think outside the box because all of our jobs require creative problem solving and every job is different.
Must have a driver's license, reliable transportation, positive attitude, a few references, communicate well with others, adapt to a changing schedule, and have a sense of humor. And you need heart.
