Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation standards
• Assist with food handling, food preparation support, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and service areas
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
• Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with host/hostess duties when needed

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or sushi restaurant experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
• Experience with upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively
• Hospitality or guest services background with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and night shifts in a lively nightclub-style environment if required
