What you will do
Contribute to the quality assurance of our core SaaS offering to drive student success, which includes building out experiential learning and comprehensive student records, and democratizing student involvement data. You’ll work closely with the entire product team, including management and developers, to design manual and automated test plans for existing and emerging capabilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and document test plans, test cases, and strategies in collaboration with product teams.
- Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of applications, ensuring functionality and identifying issues before release.
- Automated Testing: In collaboration with developers, create and maintain automated test scripts to reduce manual testing and ensure application stability.
- Bug Tracking and Reporting: Document and track defects, working with developers and product managers to prioritize and resolve issues.
- Performance and Load Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the application can handle expected user traffic.
- Accessibility Testing: Conduct accessibility testing to ensure the application meets WCAG standards and is inclusive for all users.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
- 4 years of experience in quality assurance in web and mobile applications.
- 2 years with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- 2 years working in an agile QA environment
Auxiliary
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and accessibility testing tools.
- Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE.
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks like Detox or Appium.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
